Writer + Director + Producer |
Jonathan
Hal Reynolds was born and raised in Woodway, Texas. He spent
several years in New York City and has traveled all over the world
(Europe, Asia, Africa, Central America, etc.), exploring and learning
from various cultures. He graduated from Baylor University in May
2005 with a degree in Professional Writing and also with several
original screenplays under his belt. After college, he was an
adventure guide in Costa Rica before accepting a three-year Writing
Fellowship in Texas in January of 2006. He is 26 years old.
His loves are Nature, Music, Film, Writing, Reading, Traveling, Friends, and Family.
His grandfather, John Hugghins, was on the LSM ship 201 at the Battle
of Iwo Jima in 1945. He, too, is a poet and has published a book
of the poems he wrote while living on his ship during World War
II. Jonathan grew up listening to his grandfather’s moving tales
of World War II, and this has been the main inspiration for his vision
for GENERATIONS. He feels the GENERATIONS story is essential to
tell at this time in history and that “our generation needs to know and
remember what our grandparents did for us.”
His favorite movies are DEAD POETS SOCIETY, BRAVEHEART, SHAWSHANK
REDEMPTION, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, and THE ELEPHANT MAN. |
